Algorithms
Audio has been our passion since day one…over 20 years ago! Since then, we’ve been working hard to develop top-quality algorithms. It means using digital processing techniques wisely, to produce the perfect mix of sonic quality, efficiency and usability. Our main fields of activity are Digital Room Correction, sound enhancement, multichannel audio processing and ANC.
Hardware
Designing good hardware is hard work, but when it comes to audio, it gets really tricky! Whether it’s a tiny consumer product, pro-audio equipment, an avionic interface or a complex PA system, we have an extensive experience in all of these applications. Our “NU-Core” DSP modules and SOM can accelerate projects on early stage of development, create fast POC set-ups or be integrated in new designs to reduce complexity.
Firmware
Someone said: “Software may have eaten the world, but hardware still runs it“. Writing consistent, efficient and reliable firmware to make device alive, requires deep hardware knowledge and masterful coding skills. We develop custom firmwares on a variety of platforms ADI DSPs, ARM-based processors (NXP iMX), microcontrollers, Embedded Linux, etc.. Our “NU-Core” framework integrates a comprehensive signal processing chain specifically optimized for our SHARC-based modules.
Software

We specialise in software design and implementation on different platforms and OS (Windows, Windows Embedded, WinCE, Linux Embedded, MacOs, iOS, Android, native and cross-platform). • Device companion applications ensuring the tightest integration between hardware (we design) and software. • Deep understanding of audio processing focused on real-time multichannel applications. • Tailor-made tools to support every step of the product development process, from tuning through to production and maintenance.

Projects
I-FEEL®
Leaff has been qualified by Mecaer Aviation Group “Parts & Appliances supplier”
I-FEEL is an example of a very challenging project in which Leaff is involved. The company collaborates to the development of the entire IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) system, as well as to the design of hardware interfaces and related firmware. For more than 15 years, Leaff has demonstrated constant commitment to developing new solutions to ensure the success of the project in the years to come.
